Does anyone know how to change the appearance of external materials (roof and walls) for the realistic tab. I changed the roof colour by adding another layer in the "layers above" section and this is shown in the shaded option. But for the realistic mode it does not show this colour change?
Go to Appearance tab of the Material to edit, duplicate, or replace the Appearance Asset. Keep in mind that different materials should have different Appearance assets or they will look the same in Realistic/rendering mode.
Realistic uses the material render properties to generate the colour. Shaded and Shaded Consistant Colours both use the surface colour assigned to the material.
