change properties of duplicated link file without changing the original linked file

Hello,

I have a linked a Revit model to a project, I have duplicate the linked file. I want to change the properties of duplicated file without changing the original linked file. is there a way I can do it, because I want to change the phase of the the duplicated file.

You can change the phase of the link using the phase mapping. Go to edit type and change the mapping.

Changing for specific object to a certain phase is not possible unless you have to physically modify the link file.
