Change calculated room area by a factor

Hi,

in order to get the area calculation according to the german norms, balconies must be calculated as 50% of their actual area. is there a way to do that, so that in the table, it is calculated by half?

no but u can control your rooms from vg from you plan and section to check all the area of the room is calculated but u can't get factor for this even u make it manual

edit: btw did you mean in schedule by 'in the table'? Guess so.
You can add a yes/no project parameter to area category for instance and set it to yes for the balcony, and to no if not (in schedule), then with a calculated parameter check it using an if statement: IF([balcony], Area*0.5, Area)

Yes you can - in both the Tags and the Schedules - via a Shared Parameter and a Calculated Parameter.  Open and inspect the attached RVT, and the Room Tag Family within it, to see how it can be done.

... makes sense to also have it for the room/area tag with a shared parameter. I guess at the moment OP just put it in text in brackets below it. Also, read room category in previous post in case of rooms, thought it was about area plans.

These tags are very useful. Do you have room tags for roof areas that calculate the area of rooms in the roof? According to German law, the area should be calculated as follows: the first line, 1 meter from the floor to the roof skin, and the second line, 2 meters from the floor to the roof skin, between these two lines  it should be calculated 50% of the area. If the height is greater than 2 meters, 100% of the area should be calculated. If the height is less than 1 meter, it should not be included.
