Ceiling grid pattern in ifc

Hi,

How do I export ceiling grid pattern into ifc from Revit? Ive googled a Whole day, so far only suggestions that are time consuming. Is it really not possible to export this at all in a simple way? Getting really frustrated about this...... Ceiling grid is extremely important for ventilation and electricity. Is Autodesk working on improving this at all?

Is it just me, but I still doesn't get any surface pattern in my IFC model? Checked the ifc in Solibri and Navisworks

I can't speak for Solibri but Navisworks does not show material surface patterns.  Those maybe a special properties of Revit because if I open the IFC in Revit I can see them.
