CEILING GRID LAYER NOT EXPORTING TO CAD

Some of the ceiling patter is not exporting over to cad. In the pics, at the bottom of the pic, there is a compound ceiling. When I export it, it does not make it to cad. But the compound ceiling to the right of the pic does. Any ideas on this problem? On the third pic, in the visibility graphics, the selection boxes are locked. Can I unlock it? Thank You

When you have the diagonal pattern over the ceiling pattern, one of them will be masked when exported to DWG. What is the diagonal pattern for?

Vinyl coated. Everything seems to locked. Can I do something to be able to edit a locked drawing? Or save as a version that I can edit? Thank You

Everything  is locked because a View template is assigned.  If you want the full pattern to show, create a pattern with both patterns mixed if using an earlier version of Revit.  Else use the foreground/background pattern for materials with 2019.  If you are not pattern creator savvy by modifying the PAT file,  I suggest downloading PyRevit which has a pattern creator.

What do you mean "locked "?  Do you mean the view has a view template.  Before getting into "unlocking" it, can you tell me where is the diagonal hatch coming from?  Is it a filled region, a room color scheme in a different view placed on the sheet, something else?

I can't tell what the hatch is, it won't select. This is someone else's drawing. This is the first time I have had this problem. At this point, it looks like I'm going to have to draw the ceiling tiles in the cad drawing, unfortunately. Also when I select an object, it won't let me hide elements. It is greyed out. Thank You

It may be pinned. Enable Select Pinned Elements (bottom right bar pin icon) and see if you can select it.

It maybe in a different view placed on top of the ceiling view. We do it all the time to show things similar to what you show. Get out of the ceiling plan view, do a cross selection on sheet see if you see two views. If so, move that view out side of the border. Export to CAD, open the DWG and move the viewport from outside back in.
