Ceiling constrains reset

Good day,

when drafting a ceiling - be it automatic or per sketch - the constraints reset to the chosen level every time a single sketch is completed. I would rather refer to a level above when sketching than to chosen level.

Please fix the issue as soon as possible.

Whenever you draw a ceiling - you can specify the level form which the ceiling is offset from.

You might know that is true for every element in Revit - however, when you draw a ceiling - the constraint is being reset to the same level you are drawing on.

It is more of a rant. I am trying to submit every error in basic functionality hoping that Autodesk will start addressing the issues.

Ceilings are Hosted to Levels.

Are you trying to sketch a Ceiling in relationship to a Ceiling that is on another Level?  If so, use View Underlay to show the reference Ceiling.
