Thanks for your reply but I figure out solution for that, Would you like to tell about room tags in same plan because its showing error of not enclosed. So do i need to re draft whole plan again for room tag and area calculations?
If you look at your Level 1 floor plan, its associated level is Ground Floor, but your walls are 0.6m higher than Ground Floor. Also, some of your walls are not room bounding.
First, select all your walls and check the Room Bounding.
After that you will have 4 options to make it work:
1. Go to an Elevation or Section, select the Ground Level, type 0.6 in Computation Height. After that, you should be able to add room in your Level 1 floor plan.
2. Select all the walls that 0.6m from the Ground Level, lower them to touch the Ground Level.
3. In your Level 1 floor plan, use Room Separator to draw over your walls.
4. Create a new floor plan with the Associated Level to PLINTH FLOOR LVL.
Let me know if you still have questions.
I want to set beam drafting setting in dotted line instead of light grey every time. I already used line work command but i don't want to do that every signal for each beam so suggest default line settings.as you can see in attached line i tried to change line type and color too but its still not showing graphics which i want
Thanks for reply, on lvl 2 i can do room bounding easily but as per given solution by you its not working plinth lvl plan even after adding new level? is it possible for you to do it and send it back to me?
Your level 2 and 3 floor plans are okay. If you need to place a room on the balcony, just add room separator.
Your level 3 doesn't have any wall yet, you will be able to place room once you have the walls done.
For your graphical overriding, the structural beams are under Structural Framing. 🙂
yah but what to do for lvl 1 room bounding. i cant find structral beam in structal framing category in vv settings
Check my previous post for the 4 options for you. Also, you need to make sure that all of your walls have the Room Bounding checked.
Structural Beam = Structural Framing, there's no sub-category.
