Cant align abutment ?

Hello there, I'm with an model of a bridge crated in Infraworks and I was alligning my componenents to reference planes, but I noticed that my abutments (only them) cannot be selected to be alligned. Whats going on ?

Sometimes if you can't align something you can try to do this workaround:

1. Draw a line parallel to the object you are trying to align

2. Group the object you are trying to align with the newly drawn line

3. Align the newly created group to whatever you would like to.

4. Ungroup
