Cannot select model objects with a window

Help,

I am using Revit Architecture 2014 and drawing in a multi-level floor plan.

In one of my views I am unable to select families in my furniture workset using a window (in either direction).I am able to select my furniture families individually (but it's getting to be a pain).  I have checked that the furniture families are all associated with the current level. I can select these same families using a window in other plan views. I also find I am able to select other architectural objects and detail items using a window in this plan view.

What's happening here and what do I do to fix it?

Create Group for furniture, select copy it at same place.

Now Ungroup the one of them. Select the Group edit it, select all furniture change the level from Type Properties:)

Thanks, Sureshchotrani.

Unfortunately it doesn't work. Funny thing is that even when I am in the group edit I can't select with window and I can't add or subtract from the group either.

Are the objects Pinned, and if so do you have Select Pinned Objects disabled?

Sorry...I see that you are able to select them individually...

Have you tried turning off Hardware Acceleration (maybe graphics?)

Are they in an Underlay when you are trying to select them?

Are you in a view with a Discipline setting of M, E, or P? In those Disciplines everything else kinda becomes like an underlay and is only selectable with direct clicking.

Ah-hah! It was set to Architectural but I picked it again...and voila! Thank you.

Thanks for this info....but WHY?  WHY doesn't it let you select w/ a crossing or window?  Makes no sense.

If you did MEP that included architectural elements in the model, you might appreciate it.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
