Cannot see rooms in Site Plan

Hi,

Does anyone know how to show rooms on a site plan?

Whenever I add a room I get a message:

"None of the created elements are visible in Floor Plan: Site View. You may want to check the active view, its Parameters, and Visibility settings, as well as any Plan Regions and their settings."

I can see them on levels 1 & 2 so they are being created it's just they're not visible.

I have visibility graphics set to show room color and interior fill as well as reference.

I don't have any filters either or any view templates.

Is there a way to show rooms on a site plan?

Thanks

View range Cut Plane must Cut rooms in order to show them.

Thanks for this.

What I'm looking to achieve is colouring sections denoting paved or grass etc areas.

Site plans seem to be mixed in that some plans I've seen look like this:

whilst others show the roof as well as cololoured or shaded areas.

It looks like this would be impossible on a site plan with the visibility cut line below the roofline (in order to cut the room) or I suppose you can increase the the height of the room above the roofline which seems counter intuitive.

So this begs the question, what is the correct method to get coloured areas like in the plan above?

As far as I can tell you cannot use areas or spaces on a site plan (without altering the view range but then you'd lose the roof which might be problematic if you need it shown) but you could use filled regions but I'm not sure you can tag filled regions, calculate area or put on schedules, all of which would be desirable as you would for rooms, spaces and areas???

Create an Area Scheme for Site and use Area Plan with Area Color Scheme.
