Cannot Install Revit 2016 on Windows 10

Hello Everyone,

I've tried to install Revit 2016 on Windows 10 twice now and have been met with failure. 

The end of the Setup log reads as follows and makes me believe that it is somehow related to Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.

Any help or ideas would be fantastic.

have you tried uninstalling everything C++ and .NET on your machine first before then installing Revit? I have had this on several client machines in the past and allowing the ADSK software to install them has resolved the issue.

Another method that used to work, was downloading TrueView and installing that first - I can't remember why this fixed installation issues, but maybe worth a try.
