Cannot Control Lineweight of Objects on 3D view

Hi everyone,

I encountered this problem when I tried to do a 3D section. I want to change the Projection Line of objects that is inside the house such as Furniture, Casework, Lighting Devices etc... to the thinnest lineweight value. I've already tried to set the lines to the "1" value both on the View Template and Objects Styles but it didn't work well. There are so many lines which are not affected following the action (as you pay attention to the furniture the lines are still in different lineweight despite I want them to be all at "1" value). Most of the furniture families are from the Internet (Bimobjects, Revitcity, NBSBim...) and the caseworks are created by me.

I have a sample image below for this issue. I hope to receive your advices for this which I'll appreciate a lot.

most families you download from other sources require a  little first aid before you can use them in your Project per your standards  and, therefore your expectations.  Not all families are created equal. I'm sure you know what I mean. Have you opened and inspected the families directly? They may need to be "reorganized" -- or even rebuilt --  to meet your "standard" way of doing things. It ain't romantic work . It's just work.  

TIP: Pay special attention to Subcategories.  This is usually the key...IME/O.   Also, pay attention to element's Visibility Settings. Those can put a wrench in your monkey as well.

Have you also checked the settings of the sub-categories of the different categories?

Have you looked at the graphic display options?

That depends on what is your lineweight 1 is set to. Check and see what thickness is set to.

Also when the model is very detail and your 3d model scale is set to 1:50 or 1:100, the line will be close to one another and make your 3d model lineweight look very thick.

@barthbradley  @syman2000 thank you so much for all of your suggestion, these are things that I also didn't think of. I'll give a try on varies solutions for this once finishing my deadline. 

The more I get over an issue in Revit, the more I find that I'll never learn enough of this thing.
