by default, you can only adjust the horizontal width of a column by selecting and dragging the arrow of each vertical line separating the columns. If you have content inside a cell that is greater than the width of the column however, the vertical size of the cell will increase to accommodate the content. For example, a Description column with lots of texts in it will naturally wrap the text if the column is too narrow to fit the text on one line.
