Can't Place a Toilet

I am trying to place a toilet on my plan. It will allow me to do so on ½ of my plan, but not on the other half. The 2 sections are at a 45 degree angle to each other, but that shouldn’t matter, correct? In the screen grab below, I can drag the toilet in and around area “1”, but when I move over to area “2” I get the circle with the diagonal line through it. Is there something else I need to look out for?Toilet Placement.JPG

The behavior that you are seeing indicates that Revit cannot find a valid host for the element in area #2. Is the Family Floor-Hosted? If so, then perhaps the Floor for area #2 is not visible in the current View. You will have to check the various View Settings (i.e. View Range) versus the elevation of that Floor.
