Can't make window error

I have a file that is now giving me issues and I'm just at the end trying to finish up some revisions. Needing to add windows but now it won't let me and starts deleting windows as I try make new ones. It won't even allow me to input the Revit windows from the library since the windows I had were third-party and I've been using that model for years. (yes it is updated to the current version of Revit I have which is 2023.) Also, I try cutting simple lines and it gives me an error and shuts down the file. I'm not sure what the hell is going on...any thoughts?

Sorry, not sure what you mean as this is my first time posting. Do you mean post the entire Revit file?

You can post the RVT here for us to look at and troubleshoot - assuming the issue is replicable on our end.  If you want to do that, start a reply post and scroll down to Attachments and press Browse to locate/select the file to upload with in the reply post.  Get it?

I will post it so you can see. It's very strange and I have zero clue how to fix it.

Turn off your Imported Categories in the View and let me know if that resolves the issues you are having.

BTW: I'm not having any issues like you are describing.

Ah, I see another possible culprit. Your building Model is located far away from the Internal Origin.

Are you saying that all was well with this Model until recently? Like I said, I'm not experiencing any issues like you described in you intro.  Perhaps those issues are unrelated.  Did you recently install some Add-ins?

Yes, correct. No issues until last night and I didn't update anything. Very strange. And I cannot see how it would be a virus. Just seems like something glitched in this file.

I'm heading back to the office and will look at it shortly and try your suggestions.

Removed the entire imported cad file. I keep getting this attached below.

Sorry, can't replicate.

Maybe some routine file maintenance is in order.

Maybe disabling hardware acceleration (under Options) would help you. You've got a lot going in your views. Maybe your graphics card isn't up to the task.

I'll try that but I've had larger files with more complex homes without issue. I'll just make sure that I don't use this as any other template so that it doesn't haunt or follow other files. I'm not sure what you mean about "file maintenance" but I'm open to suggestions.

Did you see the link I posted?  Guess not. My bad. I'm often editing my posts to include additional info.

Thank you for the link for the maintenance. I'll make sure to update my routine for files.
