Can't make type with Adaptive component (Façade)

Hi,

I am working on a Facade with a twisted element that is based on the adaptive component pattern. I've changed the family several times because more elements were disappearing before, now only 1, but I still don't understand why it doesn't work or what I should change. I've also tried to recreate the mass with a full volume (because I've read that makes it work better) instead of just a mesh but that didn't work either.

I attach the files here.

If anyone can help me get it to work correctly.

Thanks in advance,

I'm not fully understanding. You want each instance to have different settings?  If so, then the parameters in the Family need to be INSTANCE Parameters.

Hi,

No, for now I want the parameters to be a type parameters.

The problem is 1 of the panel disappear ( can't make type is the warning), revit deleted it. I don't know what is wrong with the family.

Empty Border Tile work for you?

Hi  @barthbradley,

It doesn't. If you place the family for the top, which is flat (not twisted), I have no problem. But if you tried to apply the twisted element, it doesn't work. So, I'm trying to figure out why that family (A_PB_GRNC_GRNC_Facade element_V5_test) doesn't work, or how I can make it work.

 Thanks.
