can't hide text in generic model

I am working in a 3D view and have some floating text here and there. When I set the visibilty of Generic models off, it dissapears. I tried to hide all sub catergory's 1 by 1, but then the text still shows.

I am fairly new to Revit, so am I doing something wrong?

Floating Text?  You mean Generic Annotation Family?  Does unchecking Generic Annotation Category (under Annotation Category Tab in VGOs) turn them off in the View?

@ewijnen

Have you import DWG files?

Hi thanks, but unchecking Generic Annotation Category doesn't hide the tekst. only the main checkbox of Generic Model  hides the flaoting tekst.

Is the text embedded in 3D elements? If so, open up those families, select the text, and assign a subcategory to them.

Edit: Never mind. I always forget you can't assign a subcategory to text...
