Can't edit view template

I'm trying to edit a view template, after i've selected and unselected elements that i want hidden, when i click ok or apply, nothing happens its almost like it doesn't register, the dialogue box stays theret almost like its frozen but its not, I have to click on close or escape for the dialogue box to close and then no changes are made. anyone else ever come across this problem?

can you provide more information about what you see?
Uploading a couple of screenshots can help identifying the problem.

Its working fine now, I closed revit and restarted it and that fixed it, i dont why it was acting like that before
