Hi,

I have a curtainwall embedded in a normal wall and I need to make it 2" taller and it's proving very difficult. Any help would be much appreciated.

Your screenshot shows that you have the Panel (door) selected - not the Curtain Wall.   Are you using TAB-Select? Try a crossing window selection and ticking only Walls in the Filter Dialog Box.

Not sure how to accomplish that - there don't seem to be any walls to select.

Is Select Pinned Element turned off?

No select pinned elements is on.

Also I'm pretty sure the entire curtainwall is actually selected.

The wider screenshot here shows the properties panel of the curtain panel family.

In plan the blue dashed line also seems to indicate that the curtainwall itself is selected.

Thanks for your quick responses by the way.

You are selecting the curtain wall on plan based on your screenshot, then just type in the new height in properties.

Yeah, you're right. The Curtain Wall is selected in your screenshot.  I see its properties displayed. Something isn't right about them.  Post the file.

I wish I could..

Unless I'm missing something, there's no Height Parameter to edit

This is a screenshot of the active selection & Properties window

The file is too big to post directly. Is there another way?

Just clipboard copy/paste the walls to another project and post that one.

Thanks barth but I'm just going to delete it and make a new one. Thanks for your help! I thought maybe I was missing something obvious, but it seems I'm running into some kind of glitch. Gonna cut my losses here.
