Can't Edit Dimension Length

I'm making a lighting layout plan and on one of my views I'm unable to edit the dimension length between my lights. It was working on a lighting layout plan on the first floor, but when I went to the second floor of the building I'm unable to edit the dimension length, even though I'm using the same exact light fixture family and the same exact dimension style.

At a guess, your Dim in Jpeg#1 is attached to something other than the Light Fitting.

What happens if you move the Light?

When I move the light the dimension moves also

Do you see Activate Dimensions button in the Option bar under the Ribbon when you select the light?
