can't customize the pattern pane to self-created family file

Hi there,

could someone kindly assist me please.

i 've done saved the family file created from Metric curtain panel pattern based.

In the mass model file, after i chose the surface to customize, then at the Pattern "pull-down",

i can see the new file right below Rectangle.

however, after clicking this new pattern, the regenerating failed and produced long list of error,

as provided by the screenshot.

Could anyone kindly explain what went wrong & how to fix it please.

I'm surprised you got that far with blowing up your computer and yourself.  You okay? You hurt?  I'm  still sore after testing.  

I would try by testing iterations of  the panel -- each one being slightly more complex that the last.

You pattern family is not constrained properly.  When you create family like that, always text it by flex the grid dimensions before loading it in project.

A wild guess...looks like you have been following a youtube tutorial (EXAMPLE: THIS TUTORIAL) 

Considering the resemblance, I would suggest that you go back to that tutorial and follow step by step
