Can I run Revit on Galaxy Book 2?

Does anyone have experience installing Revit on Galaxy Book 2? I would like to use it for presentation and minor changes and not for regular work.

It has a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor.

Revit does not run on Android, AFAIK.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Although it runs Windows the Snapdragon processors will only run Windows Store apps, so not Revit. One option if you use BIM 360 is to present with the browser & website. Works well on even modest machines.

Same problem with the Galaxy Book 12”, 2-in-1 PC? There is no workaround?

Revit requires a 64 bit OS on 'x86' type processor (typically Intel/AMD) so no workaround I know of

So then it is much better on a Microsoft Surface? Is revit 2020 optimized to work with the active pen from the Surface?

Yes, runs OK on the Intel Surfaces (so not the new snapdragon Pro X), better on Surface Book due to the dedicated NVIDIA graphics, within the device RAM memory limits (16GB) so not vast complex models.

None of the Autodesk cad/BIM apps work very well, if at all, with pen or the surface dial, rather disappointing how poorly Autodesk have done this. Their sketchbook app does work well with pen though

Have a look at the surface related posts on my blog for more details  on Revit/cad/surface

Thank you for your answer. So, you said that Revit doesn't work well with the pen? So, you can't sit back and use the pen instead of the mouse with Revit on the Surface book/pro? It won't make much sense to buy it if you have to use a mouse to work on revit... I thought Revit was optimized for it by now...
