can I hide edge visibility for a certain category only?

I have 3d trees in my site plan, the edges of leafs are messing the appearence - would rather have no edges - like below - but I need the edges of everything else to be visible.. playing with the line colours didnt help, I just need them to disappear..

Interesting Realistic display looking down at the top of those trees.  Are those RPC Trees?  Can you post the Family?

@barthbradley its a 3d tree I found somewhere, nothing special but I tried allot to adjust colours and visual style.. here is the family, but the visual template is not in the file
