Can I export and Imported CAD dwg?

I was given a Revit model that has a dwg file imbedded in it (using Insert > Import CAD)

Can I export that imported file back to DWG? If so, will it be the same as the original DWG file that was imported?

Yes, you can create a view with just the CAD visible and export it to DWG.   Layers should be the same.  Colors I am not sure.

Edit your Export Options and save the Setup for future use.
