Hi
The option to apply a View Template to new views doesn't seem to work in Revit 17 nor 18, if the view is being created by a Callout.
(However, if the option to make the view dependent on the View Template is checked, it works.)
Recreating the view type nor View Template doesn't fix what seems to be a regular bug. Any advice on this one?

Then... check it?
Haha, well... unfortunately that is not what I want to do 😉
Some view types should have a specific View Template assigned right away, others just need to have a reasonable starting point, that will provide a basis for various drawing categories and future View Templates. It's basically a matter of usability/flexibility.
(Besides - I'm pointing out what seems to be a bug, as it has worked in earlier versions of Revit.)
Has anyone found a workaround for this - recreating etc.?
