Our system is having issues with raster graphics plotting out of Revit 2018 with windows 10 on the HPDesignjet 1050C

Thanks for posting on the Revit Architecture forum.

Can you elaborate on what kind of issues you are facing? It will help us troubleshoot further.

• Is it about print quality?
• Is the print different from what you see in the print preview in Revit?
• Do some of your views contains images which are not visble in print?
• Do you have shadows in elevation views etc that are not printed?

Is your HP DesignJet 1050c plotter driver updated to the latest version?

The HP1050c driver is not compatible with Win 10, and Revit 2018 wont plot.

Substituted the HPDesignJet5550 driver which does plot but raster graphics plot solid black, tried to switch to raster and that only made plotting slower.

Can you send us your files to test further and post an image of the plot if possible?

I have a few questions to understand the issue better:

When you mean slow to print, how long does it take for a single view/sheet?

Do you have a multiple monitor setup and do you work on a remote desktop?

How many users in the project?

Does the print preview look good as per your requirement?

In your visibility graphics is the line weight more than 2 in object styles.

Do you have images or decals in your project?

I can send you a private upload folder if you'd prefer.
