CAD to Earth

Hi, I'm a new user of Revit and I've just installed the CAD-to-Earth plug in to Revit but it doesn't work. I have no idea why. The install progam said the installation was succesful but the CADtoEarth toolbar does not appear nor the 'Add-Ins' tab of the Revit ribbon toolbar. Can somebody have the amability to orient me how to solve this problem for using the CADtoEarth plug in? Thank you in advance for your support. Hans Barreth

Welcome to the Autodesk forum.

I just download and instal the CADtoEarth plugin.

It's working on Revit2014-2015-2016-2016 without any problems.

I am not sure what the problem is  but is a create plugin, thanks for that!

What you have to check is the following thing:

- what is the Revit version en are there any updates.

Hi Michiel, Thank you for your answer. The Revit version I'm using is Revit LT 2017. From your e-mail, you only downloaded CADtoEarth on Revit 2014, 2015,2016 but not 2017. Can the problem arise from that? Could you try download it ffor Revit LT2017? Thank you very much in advance for your answer. Hans

Dear hansbarreth

None of plugins can be used on Revits LT as there is no API in it.

Hi, I have a little issue, my CadToEarth is well installed, but the surface isn't creating the topography, when I press "get surface" it just appears flat...what can I do?, my Revit version is 2016.

I have installed CADtoEarth and it appears now in the top menu of Add-Ins. However, i can not log in to this application (all CADtoEarth buttons are off). Please advise
