Walk through question

I created a walk through.  How can I see it in action (animated)?

When you have created your walkthrough you should have a view in your project browser called Walkthrough1 or similar.

When you activate that view and select the border you should be able to click on the function "Edit Walkthrough"

Then you should have controls to step through the frames of you animation

If you are happy with the results you can export it to an animation file (e.g avi, jpg).

If the function is greyed out make sure you have first selected the border of the walkthrough view (like in first screenshot) before trying to activate the export function.

Note that depending on amount of frames and quality settings this render process can take a very long time

I was able to step through the frames.  But I do not have an option to export a .AVI file.

Have you scrolled further down the menu by clicking on the little arrow button?
