CAD links align in Autocad but not in Revit

Hi,

I have 3 cad files that align in Autocad when using xref but when linking with "Auto - origin to origin" in Revit they do not end up in the correct place. I have read previous forums but are not able to make it work. What am I doing wrong?

Are you getting any messages when linking the AutoCAD files into Revit about an origin (or origins) being more than 20 miles from the origin and that the default of Center to Center will be used as the location method?

Ah! Is the CAD Georeferenced (via Geolocation)?

Yes they are, they are correctly placed in the world.

I attached DWG, the Revit file is too heavy to attach.

Don't overthink it... in Revit, unpin your CAD link, and move it to the correct position, then re-pin it.

You drawings are too far from the WCS 0,0,0 so Revit will use center to center upon inserting them. Do what the post above said: unpin one of the drawing and move it to match the other, then acquire coordinates from either one of them.

My question was if the CAD is GEOLOCATED?  Does the CAD have a Geolocation Marker/data?  If so, read this thread through:

Actually, the OP may need to "overthink" it if the CAD is Georeferenced .
