Hi All,
I am in urgent need of help here... May I know how do I export my Revit model in STL with scale? As in scaling my Revit Model to say, 1:100 or 1:200 scale for 3D Printing?
Hi,
What version of Revit are you using?
Have you checked the Autodesk App Store? Autodesk have an add-in tool for 2017 and there are other 3rd parties as well. Check the following link: STL Export Apps
If you are using later versions you should be able to get add-in through your Autodesk desktop app
I hope this helps.
Gareth
I am using Revit 2020.2.
I am asking on how can I scale my model to a specific scale suitable for printing? (E.g 1:100, 1:200 or 1:50)
Last thing I want is to print a 1000m x 1000m true-size model if you get what I mean? Haha
Oh sorry, I can't help with that one. ![]()
What 3D Printing Software are you using? It's the printing software that is doing the scaling.
Not in Revit...From Revit you simply export the STL, the sizing and scaling is done in the Slicing software such as Netfabb/Cura/OctoPrint...
