CAD linked into revit model that is linked into another revit model. CAD not showing in final revit model

i have a co-worker who has a CAD linked into revit model that is linked into another revit model and the CAD not showing in final revit model. the CAD does show in its host revit model though

Is your CAD link in by specific view only or link in to all view? If the CAD is link by specific view, you have to use link by view and choose which view the CAD link was linked to. If it is link to all view, you have to go to the Revit link and set it to custom.

Then go to the import categories and set it to custom. There you should see CAD link by default is checked off. Turn them on to make the CAD link show up in your model.

use VG

Custom view

By Linked view..

select the actual view from the linked revit which you want to see in current file..

( try to keep the scale same )

Check if there is a view template assigned to that view and set to none and see if helps. Thanks
