Bug in Project File ?

Hi,

I have a file here, a Revit Project File with a linked IFC file.

(I have tried to attach the files in a reply to this post, but somehow I cannot attach the IFC file so here is a download link for the two files: https://we.tl/MPocUCLhrU).

The Revit Project File shows some weird behaviour that I can not explain. I was wondering if anyone out here could help out, to define what's going on.

To reproduce my issue, please execute the following steps:

-first link the IFC file into the Revit Project File

Now, first issue
-go to the view  "1 - Floor 1" (floor plan)
-when zoomed out I see this (pic01):

pic01pic01
-then, when zooming in, some parts are falling away ! (pic 02)  Why is this happening ?

 pic02pic02

Second issue:

-go to view "2 - East" (elevation view), then go to view "Section 1" (Detail View).
-Inside view "Section 1", with the Far Clip Offset on default value 3048 everything is visible. I am seeing this: (pic 03)

-But, when changing the Far Clip Offset to 50 mm , again, some things are falling away. I am seeing this: (pic 04)

These are just two examples but it's happening pretty often.  (Always using the same Project Template File. So maybe it could be related to that somehow?)

Furthermore, the behaviour seems inconsistent. Regarding the Second issue from above, just a few moments ago, at Far Clip Offset value 50, the linked ifc model was falling away as well. But I cant reproduce that anymore.

Does anybody have any idea what is going on here ???

Thanks in advance!

I have tried using an OOTB (Out of the Box) empty Structural template project file.

Same issue is happening. But, I spotted a difference between a vertical building section and horizontal building section . The vertical one is going fine at Far Clip Offset 50 mm, The horizontal one (which i always have to draw vertical and then rotate 90 degrees) is disappearing at value 50. No difference here between 'building section' and 'wall section'.

Same thing with a horizontal Detail View, geometry disappearing at 50 mm.

File attached.

Yes I checked VG overrides.

Coarse medium fine makes no difference.

VG overrides can not be it. Everything shows up fine at Far Clip Offset 3048. Changing this value makes the difference.

I am going to close this topic and reformulate the problem in a fresh topic.
