Hi,
I spotted a difference between Architecural and Structural template that I do not understand (Revit 2017).
Starting from a blank project with Arch template, I load in an IFC, and its not visible.

Where does this difference come from?
IFC can be downloaded here: https://we.tl/g75GSmcK8z
Thanks in advance.

I just tried via Revit 2019. Both Arch and Struct show the linked IFC without issues or differences. Visibility Graphics Dialog Box shows Revit Links Tab displays IFC link is checked for display in both templates. What version of Revit are you using? Can you provide a few snapshots?
Dzan Ta, AEE, ASM, ACI.
Win 11 Pro/DELL XPS 15 9510/i9 3.2GHz/32GB RAM/Nvidia RTX 3050Ti/1TB PCIe SSD/4K 15.4" Non-Touch Display
Using Revit 2017.
Visiblity Graphics shows IFC as linked and checked
Still, nothing visible in any view
Ive swapped info in post 1.
Architectural template shows ifc fine.
Construction template shows nothing.
Problem solved. It was a VG thing. My bad.
I had to set the VG settings of the Linked IFC to custom and then change the phase setting to latest.
Thanks for your help.
Back to the original question? What is the difference the Architectural and Construction templets ? We are a company just setting up our templets and getting started with Revit.
We are an design firm, but do interior CD's and sometimes a simply metal building.
Use Architectural Template. It has a few more view templates geared toward design and construction documents.
