Hi all,
Can anyone tell me is there a way to show a blockwork pattern for a foundation wall with the blockwork laid on flat?
Still no attachment, @Anonymous. But, I'm wondering now if you are talking about the orientation of the Surface Pattern. For instance, maybe you want a pattern rotated a different direction on the surface. There are ways to do this. One way would be to make it a Model Pattern (not Drafting Pattern) so that you could physically grab the pattern and rotate it.
Am I getting warm?
Sorry,
Don't know why attachments did not send, hope this works. I think you have put on the right track by using the model pattern. Ill keep trying .
Many thanks for your reply, hope you see attachments now..
Some of the wall types and patterns maybe already included in the template. below is an example of a standard CMU wall. See screencast in a few minute on how to aligning the pattern.

Looks like you are wrapping wall ends. How about not wrapping ends. Instead, paint wall ends with a material that uses a parallel lines spaced the distance of the brick height. Make it Model Pattern so you can line it up with the front pattern.
I am strugling with the block laid flat. don't suppose you could share the .pat file you made? thanks
Here are some samples

Many thanks the hatch generator they had on the website worked brilliantly.
