Beam changes tro line in plan view.

I locate a beam {14" BCI I Jiost) on a plan view. When I use cut geometry the beam becomes a line only visible in coarse view. The beam is visible and fine in 3D, elevation, and sections.

A GluLam beam does not have this issue?

Change the View Detail Level to Medium or Fine

It's the typical Coarse View representation. Symbolic Line only. If you want the geometry visible in Coarse, then edit the Family and change its Visibility Settings.

Thank you for the reply. The line is only visible in coarse. Medium or Fine settings remove visibility completely.

I changed the visibility setting in the family editor show in plan was unchecked.
