Beam behaviour

Hi everybody,

I have difficulties to understand the beam's behaviour.

When I place a beam (not joined with other beam or wall) that doesn't stop where I want.

1.27 are added automatically when I stretches it.

I would like to know why my beam is bigger than I want.

Thanks in advance.20180418-BEAM BEHAVIOUR.PNG20180418-BEAM BEHAVIOUR2.PNG

Select the beam, right click on the end grip and choose Disallow Join.

There is nothing like that in my family. I think the problem is the family that I took from the french librarie. I don't know why there is an offset from the edge of 1.27 cm.

However in the concrete beam english family version there is not this offsets.

I am going to add a parameter for this dimmension and set it to 0. I wonder why the french version was created like that.
