automatically pick new host for all trees in revit file to be the grond beneath them

hello so I have an issue that all these trees don't have a host and the ground beneath them is divided into different parts with different levels so I can't pick the ground once for all the trees as new host and have to manually choose each ground part as new host for each tree which is taking a lot of time from me

how can I automate this on dynamo? in a way that dynamo will see the trees zxy coordinates and the zxy coordinates of the ground beneath it and pick the ground beneath each tree as its hostWhatsApp Image 2025-04-06 at 6.06.44 PM.jpegWhatsApp Image 2025-04-06 at 6.02.31 PM.jpeg

Its clear. But you'd probably have more luck on the Dynamo forums.

What is not clear is the category of the host? Floor elements?

Its Sunday but I can try to help if I have some free time but no promises. If not, I wil re-vist the post tomorrow. However, please do tell if you have already recieved help on a different forum such as dynamobim.

Edit: A very similar question was posted nearly around the same time on Dynamo forum. Could it be that you two are working on the same project https://forum.dynamobim.com/t/aling-revit-families-to-modified-floors/109345

How about Cut (to clipboard NOT to Geometry) cut to clipboard then PASTE back into 'Same place'?

Trees do not need a host and can be free standing elements. They are not like doors.
