Dear members of the Autodesk Revit community,
I hope everyone is okay. I would like to raise an issue that has been the subject of discussion among several Revit users, and that I consider crucial for the continuous improvement of this fundamental tool for our industry.
The effort that many of us dedicate daily to developing projects using Revit is remarkable. However, I have noticed a certain frustration regarding Autodesk's apparent lack of response to suggestions and requests for improvements made by the community over the years.
In particular, there have been recurring demands since 2017, such as the need for functionality that allows the union of elements that are part of links. This is just one example, but many of us certainly have other suggestions and fixes that would be beneficial to all Revit users, that much is obvious.
My question to the community and potentially Autodesk staff who may be following this forum is: is Autodesk truly taking into account the suggestions and concerns we have expressed? At what level?
I believe that more active participation from the Autodesk development team here on the forum could be extremely valuable. This would not only demonstrate a closer commitment to users' needs, but would also allow for more effective collaboration in the search for solutions and improvements.
Let's take advantage of this space to discuss our experiences and ideas about how we can make this collaboration more effective. After all, we all share the same goal of making Revit an even more powerful and efficient tool for all of us.
I hope this discussion is productive and that, together, we can contribute to the constant evolution of Revit.
