Auto dimensioning

Is there an option to automatically dimension distances of beams and columns on all floor plans without having to place 1000 dimensions

But if those columns and beams are along grid lines, you can place a wall and use Dimension Entire wall to intersections of grids...After placing the dimension you can delete the wall.  Copy paste aligned to related views 

Alternatively you can use dynamo
