Hi there, as said in the title, are there any ways to shift an entire model up to the next level without getting error messages and etc? Would greatly appreciate any advice, thank you.

The Level datum can read level relative to Project Base Point or relative to Survey Point (by default it is set to display elevation with resect to Project Base Point)...You can use that to do what you are after

- rename level 0 to level 1, level 1 to level 2 and so on

- Go to an elevation view … and make the Survey and Base point visible (Visibility graphics)

- Set out the survey point and basepoint to be 4000mm lower

OR

You can try the following:

  1. Start a new project
  2. Link in the model you have in the attached image
  3. set it out on the 1st level of the new project
  4. Bind link
  5. Transfer project standards from old to new
  6. Insert drafting views and schedules from old to new

(You will need to recreate model views or copy section/elevations tags from the old model and paste aligned to view in the new project) - could be also done using some

be in an elevation, use the move project tool, give a starting point give an endpoint.

now that i'm back at my Computer :-)...

  • Open an elevation
  • Manage ribbon > Project Location panel > Position drop down > Relocate Project
  • click on the current location
  • type the distance you want it to move.

Simply rename the levels. If you want to keep the level names but change their elevations, then ooen an elevation, turn in project base point, unclip it and move it down a distance of a level (if you are on the latest 2020.2 then you don't even need to unclip it, just move).

Have you tried simply moving all the levels up 4000mm? Rename if necessary afterwards.
