Attach Top/Base Missing

I am trying to get the wall in attached jpg to attached to barrel roof above, but cannot find the “Attach Top/Base” tool. All the tutorials I have been looking at show it in the ribbon, but it doesn’t appear on mine. Can someone please tell me how to find it? – Thanks, Phil Version 2013

You are encountering the v2013 bug. Your ribbon forgets to refresh to display new contextual tools. You need to install the service pack for revit 2013. here is the link:

In the meantime, just cycle through your ribbon states and it refreshes (click on the wee arrow button on the right hand side of your ribbon tabs)
