Phase filters and overides

I used to be able to set my phase filters and overides so that I could display existing materials by category with a halftone instead of the default solid gray. I did this by setting existing phases to display by overide in the phase filters, deleting the default material in graphic overides and checking the halftone box.

Now I can't get the halftone in Revit 2015. WHY?

Just tried this and its working for me. I done the following:

  1. Set all "existing" phase filers to "override"
  2. Remove the overrides for the Existing phase on the overrides tab
  3. Tick "Halftone" and delete the text in the material box

(Ive also set surface patterns to be invisible but that is personal preference)

See image

Hope this helps

Yes, that does woprk. Woke up refreshed this morning and took another look. I used to have it set up similiar with existing set to overides. The one difference is that I used the same line weights and color as new construction to get the same material line weights. The mistake I made with version 2015 was leaving the cut pattern filled. I do as you did letting the halftone lighten the existing.

Thanks for looking at this.
