Attach Door hardware to door

Dear All,

I'm trying to attach the door handle to door panel but I can not achieve that no matter what I do, there is reference line at the door leaf which controls the opening angle, I have parametrized the whole model but that door handle is not attaching to door actually, you guidance will be achieved.

Rotations are often tricky.... Is the hardware a nested family or are you trying to model it in the door family?

Can you upload the family for us to look at?

You can make your door handle as host by face by checking on workplane base and check off always vertical. Then set your reference line as workplace and then host the door handle to the reference line. Check this website

Here is my door, I have panic bar at interior and door handle at the exterior. I also would like that panic bar to be customizable such as door handle at the interior as well bcoz in some cases you may need to have door handles at both sides

I would make your door handle and panic hardware as host to door. That way when you rotate the door panel, it will follow the door panel.
