AREA PLAN ISSUES

When I create an area plan and make the boundaries I want for each space, I get gaps of white space not being counted, as well as a larger space that is somehow being divided into three areas when I only made one huge area boundary around the room. There is no hidden or turned off lines. I dont understand how this is happening.

As a quick test-

Create a new Revit project ( .rvt ) file. Select the Arch Template

 Create (4) walls.

 Create an Area Plan.

Does it work properly? If, so, then something is wrong in your real project.

If not, then perhaps something is wrong with your Template.

Try creating another new project, with "None" selected for the Template.

Does the Area Plan work correctly?
