Applying cladding material on truss system

I have made this truss system & want to apply fibre board cladding on it. Currently, the method that I am following :

1. Creating an extrusion family of the respective face of arch profile with a lesser depth (depth equivalent to cladding material depth).
2. Placing that profile on face of arch in project file.
3. Applying the desired material on the surface & rendering.

Same procedure I was thinking to follow for all the faces. Wanted to know of other methods for doing the same.

Apart from adaptive components; here is one way to do it using the same In Place mass wireframe which you created in the model you uploaded. This allows you to create a parametric mass that follows the Truss's wireframe. 

There are other methods but that is what came first to my mind. Maybe others have better and more simple ideas
