Any Settings Changes in Graphic display options> Lighting>In-session cause error

Hello all.

I'm having issues with the lighting>in-session [sun settings] in Revit 2017.

In short, applying any changes made with the dialogue causes an error dialouge to display: 'Third party updater "Sun and Shadow Settings Updater" has experienced a problem and its action had to be canceled'

The image that I've included (as it seems that only one file may be posted) is the expanded error (as much dedatil as is given.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

I tried restarting Revit (no change). I have recently reinstalled (to add new library support).

I'm using an HP Quadro K600, running W10Pro-64bit (build 1067). Latest nvidia drivers installed (newer that certified)

Cheers

M.

This error is usually due to an Add-in.  Look at the journal/log file to get a better idea as to which add-in is causing the problem and then remove the add-in to test afterwards.

Hi.

If I remove the plugin, and it resolves the issue, all good…except (if this
is the "shadows/lighting"plugin, this is an important plugin for me. Can
this be solved?
