Angled Soffit

I have a sloped roof with a 5'-0" overhang.  I need to add a Soffit panel to the bottom of the overhang.  I tried to model it in place and Revit wouldn't allow it.  The in-place model looked perfect. However when I click the final model completion button it always fails.   The messages are worthless. See attached.  I tried to put in a regular soffit and rotate it to the angle i need but it wouldn't rotate.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks

The roof soffit tool should behave much like a footprint roof--sketch the boundary in plan, and assign one line to define the slope.

You could also try these methods:

1. Ceiling, with slope arrow. ( create new Type for soffit material.)

2. Roof by extrusion ( separate roof, create new Type for soffit material.)

Hello I have modeled a roof canopy that will go around the entire perimter of our building. I created the entire thing as an in-place mass and then applied the walls by face. For the soffits I used a roof assembly that I have modified to be a soffit.

The problem I am now running into is the connection of two angled soffits as well as two angled walls. Is there a way to edit the wall/ roof profile in section and not just elevation?

Thank you,
