Angled Mullion

Hello all,

I'm using Revit to create curtain walls, I would like vertical/horizontal and ANGLED mullions in the wall. I understand how to create vert./horz. but don't know where to start with the angled ones. Can anyone help?

Edit the curtain wall type and substitute the panel with another curtain wall type.

Just went through this exercise myself.  What you are trying to do is easy once you figure it out.

1.)  Select entire curtain wall, a 3D view or plan view makes this easy.

2.)  Keep curtain wall selected, go to elevation or section view of curtain wall.

3.)  Click "Edit Profile".

4.)  Adjust curtain wall profile to shape you need and click the green check mark.  Done.

Thanks for this solution, but could you please describe the process??

You say in your images, "main curtain wall"

Then: "use another curtain wall type as panels"

Then: "Add curtain grid to the nested curtain wall"

How do you make a "nested curtain wall"?

Do you make another curtain wall and move to the same position?

Do you copy the existing curtain wall and edit the copy?

Is there a revit command to merge or embed one curtain wall into another?

Please elaborate you response.

Nested curtain wall is a term to indicate using another curtain wall type in lieu of curtain panels.

No.

That is exactly what the above approach does.
