all tools are grayed out

I'm trying to copy part of the model somewhere in the plan but everything is grayed out '' move, copy , mirror , align....almost all tools! can you please help?

The issue is that revit doesn't like when you move hosted items perpendicular to the host even if you are also moving the host (ie. doors, windows, etc).

Best option is to create a group of what you want to copy, then copy the group, then ungroup.
