Aligning the Revit Model and its Point cloud on same coordinates

I am having difficulty in aligning Revit model on different coordinates.
I need to place my Revit model on separate coordinates along with the position of Point cloud.
Here are some screenshots attached below showing the placement of my current project.
Base Point coordinates of Revit ModelBase Point coordinates of Revit Model
In the below picture are the coordinates marked on origin point is where the centre my project need to be moved

The cloud point and the Revit are not overlapping each other i need to align them accurately without leaving a room for any Tolerance.
Waiting for your response.

You don't say what software you're using aside from Revit, nor how the point cloud came to be. There are a lot of variables. It is very important that the point cloud is aligned well itself, with the survey data. Ideally the people doing the scanning are also doing the survey or at least working with them to have it made.

I did a bunch of work with point clouds a few years ago and haven't had a more recent project use it yet. However, I wrote a blog post discussing my observations about how Revit dealt with positioning the first linked point cloud. That was in 2011, before Autodesk introduced more features/products. Some of what I dealt with has been improved or superseded. Later I wrote another post describing how I dealt with a lot of source point cloud files.

Maybe my posts will have provide a kernel of something useful to you?

Thank You so much for your reply Steve_Stafford !
We have solve the problem, it was issue of Revised/New version. can you please guide us for Naviswork 2016 workflow, How can we upload Point cloud with appropriate Coordinates in Revit to Naviswork.

There are many variables, I have no way of knowing if any of what I write will be consistent with your own situation. With that in mind I'll just describe what I've done myself.

I deal with a point cloud file(s) in the same way I deal with a survey file(s). I start with a separate Revit model I call "Site". I linked a survey file and made sure the relevant scope is centered on the Project Base Point. Then I use Acquire Coordinates.

Now I can link the first point cloud file using positioning option: Auto - Center to Center. Then I move it so it is truly centered on the Project Base Point. I also check it in a section/elevation view so it is at the correct elevation. The point cloud is centered based on it's x/y/z extents (see image). Once the first point cloud is where I need it to be I link any other point cloud files using the position option: Origin to Last Placed

I also discuss this positioning with the source of the survey file. In my situation, for the projects I've worked on the surveyor was hired by the scanning company I built the models for. This meant I could be confident that the survey and point cloud files were using the same coordinate system. That can't be assumed in all cases. We also agreed to define a specific location as a way to double check alignment between them.

I also took advantage of Worksets and assigned groups of point cloud files to specific worksets by floor. This gave me discreet control over which floor of point clouds I could load and see in my building model. That improved performance and reduced the time I spent regenerating views as I zoomed/panned etc.

Once the survey and point cloud model I call "Site" was organized I linked my building model to the Site model. I moved/rotated it into position and adjusted its elevation. Then I used Publish Coordinates to pass the Site models survey coordinate system information to the building model. This allows me to link the Site model into the Building model using position option: By Shared Coordinates.

Assuming the previous information, I export the building model to Navisworks from Revit using Shared Coordinates. In Navisworks I append the Building Model NWC file(s). Then I append the scan or project files for the point cloud. In my case they all line up because I matched the coordinate system used in the survey to the Revit survey coordinate system...and the point cloud files were already coordinated with the survey data. I suspect that is the piece missing in your puzzle?

I would love to see this in a video format. Youtube or other video tutorial would be a great way to make this truly understandable.
